Throughout Tina's time on Big Brother Canada, one of the phrases she used most was "Whadda Ya'at!? What does it mean? It's a friendly greeting used by many Newfoundlanders meaning "What are you at? or What are you up to?" - and the common response to it is - "This is it!"

Tina Thistle was one of 14 contestants on Big Brother Canada, Season 9, representing Newfoundland & Labrador, the East Coast and the LGBTQ+ community.

During Tina's time on Big Brother Canada, she represented Newfoundland & Labrador by sharing and wearing some of the common phrases in our Newfoundland Culture.
